Subtle Differences Already Addressed
We had family stop over for Christmas Adam and, since my office is the spare room, I couldn’t use my normal work rig. so I was using my spare laptop that runs Ubuntu instead of Windows. I figured the Secretary of State should have the election records updated (the raw data used in Building an ML-Model).
So I downloaded the files to preprocess them and was quickly reminded by the error messages that Linus uses / instead of \ as a path separator. Fortunately, .NET has Path.DirectorySeparatorChar which uses the correct value. That means no more roll your own methods and hoping you have addressed all of the OS versions you might need. I love how .NET has grown and matured over the years.
